Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients’ needs and developing individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with patients to improve their ability to communicate and enhance their overall quality of life. This job will require travel to meet clients in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities:

– Conduct assessments to identify patients’ strengths and limitations.
– Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients’ goals and needs.
– Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities.
– Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance independence and promote optimal functioning.
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress.
– Provide Cultural sensitivity to children’s and family needs
– Utilize effective planning and organizational skills
– Maintain confidentiality and professional standards of practice.
– Work is available serving both Adult and Pediatric populations
– Mentorship and training are available

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech language Pathology
– Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
– Experience working with patients in their homes and communities.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
– Dedication to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
– Valid Driver’s license and a vehicle to travel.
– Yearly criminal record check to work with vulnerable adults and children under 19
