Our History
Northern Therapy Services was founded in 2017 to address the need for consistent and culturally specific rehabilitative services primarily to the communities of Northern BC. Our therapy team has been providing service to the region since 2011 and are passionate about reaching rural and remote communities with an outreach model. Northern Therapy Services specializes in providing culturally relevant care in Indigenous communities and believes in a comprehensive community approach when providing service. As such, we offer both in-person and virtual telehealth services to meet the individual needs of each community. Our multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitative Assistants, Speech & Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Athletic Therapist, Kinesiologist, Registered Psychologist and Accessibility Consultant, provide services to children, adults and elders throughout Northern British Columbia, Southwest BC & Vancouver Island. We are proud to be a Northern British Columbia owned and operated company that strives to increase health outcomes in our region and hire within our local communities.
