Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Rehab Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to therapists and clients in the delivery of rehabilitation services. Your contributions will assist clients on their journey to improved function and independence. This position may include travel to meet clients in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in delivering rehabilitation services under the direction of licensed therapists
– Support patients with prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities
– Help in patient assessment and treatment planning
– Document patient interactions and progress accurately and promptly
– Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
– Foster supportive relationships with clients and their families
– Contribute to a culturally sensitive and client-centered care approach

Qualifications:

– Rehab Assistant Certificate or on the job training offered
– Experience or education in a hospital, home care, or healthcare setting preferred
– Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with acute care practices
– Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
– Clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and professionals
– Ability to follow therapy plans and clinical instructions
– Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
– Criminal record check required for working with vulnerable adults and children under 19

Wage Range:

– $28.00 > $35.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
